‘The 50K in a Day’ Challenge.

Rowing 50km on the River Thames from the Meridian line to the QE2 Bridge and back!. Passing through the Thames Barrier past the 02 Arena with the finish at The AHOY Centre in Greenwich.

The Challenge is run on the 29th July by The AHOY Centre charity with up to 15 teams taking part.  It is challenging but fun and you will certainly see London from a completely different viewpoint!

It is also a great opportunity to work as a team and involve colleagues, friends or family. At the same time why not throw down the gauntlet and challenge others?

The money raised by each team provides vital funding to enable us to continue our work with disadvantaged young people and disabled people.  Without this funding, we would not be able to continue our Charity’s work.

Whether you are recruiting team members or have a team eager to start  - take up the Challenge and start your ‘Oarsome’ adventure today.
If you would like to have your own themed /branded Challenge we can organise this for you if you have a minimum of 8 teams (maximum 15). These are excellent Team Building events.

 Fitness & Ability

You need no rowing experience - The AHOY Centre’s qualified rowing instructors will assess your fitness before you embark on the training programme. All you need is enthusiasm and determination.
